How to solve this Math Puzzle (number 1) |

Remark 1: You'll need a math calculator and the Microsoft one is good enough. If you do not have it Google for a Math Calculator to find one.
Remark 2: Sometimes it is convenient to use Excel or any other spread sheet that you have for checking possible options. Of course, you can hand write these options as well.
Remark 3: It takes some time, to solve such a puzzle. So, enjoy the process.
Step 1
The first definition we look into is the V7 one. The coming list shows the possible options of this definition, where the first digit is 3 units bigger from the next digit:
30 || 41 || 52 || 63 || 74 || 85 || 96
We look now on the V4 definition. In it we will see that V7 can be divided with 15. The only dividable option possible from the above list is 30. No other option is divided by 15. Thus we know that V7=30 and write it in our puzzle.
Step 2
We look now on the H1 definition which uses the V7 as its only argument. Thus:
H1=V7+742 meaning that H1=30+742.
Thus H1=772 and we will write this into the puzzle.
Step 3
The H5 definition has two arguments already known to us.
Thus: H5=772-30+5030
Which mean that H5=5772 and we write it in our math puzzle.
Step 4
We will try to solve now the V2 definition. But before we will solve the V2 definition we will try to see if we can find the V2 number from the knowledge that it can be divided by 162, which we know from the H8 definition.
We know two digits from the V2 number, thus we can set a possible range.
The range of V2 is from 21710 to 29799.
We divide this range by 162 and we will check from: 134 to 184.

This can be done with a spread sheet.
We have found three options that match the two digits: 2 for the first one and 7 for the third one.
We marked those by a red marker.
Please be aware that a number cannot start with zero thus the 27702 number was not marked.
- We now have three options for the V2 number:
- 24786 – which is 153*162
- 25758 – which is 159*162
- 26730 – which is 165*162
Step 5
We now wish to see which V2 option is the correct number.
In order to achieve this goal we will use the H3 definition:
H3=(H5/156)+V2+H6-25,807
And we will use possible ranges of the H6 definition, so:
H3=37+24,786+803-25,807=-181
H3=37+24,786+893-25,807=-91
And second V2 option:
H3=37+25,758+503-25,807=491
H3=37+25,758+593-25,807=581
And the third V2 option:
H3=37+26,730+303-25,807=1,263
H3=37+26,730+393-25,807=1,353
We can see that we use the V2 definition for setting the possible range for the H6 definition. We do not look for the exact answer, since we do not know the H6 exact number, but, we surely can know if it is possible.
The only possible solution for V2 is 25758 and we will add it to the puzzle.
Step 6
We now can write the 10 possible options of H6 and see which is possible according to our knowledge of the 2 digits of the H8 number.
H6=(H8/10)-4296 or H8=(H6*10)+42960
So we can make the following table:

Step 7
Now the H3 could be solved:
H3=(H5/156)+V2+H6-25,807
H3=(5772/156)+25,758+593-25,807=581
We can see that V4 is solved because all of its digits are known.
Step 8
The only un-solved number is V1.
V1=V7+(V4*21)+H6-174,197
V1=-30+(8299*21)+593-174,197=705
We will add this to our puzzle.
